Harbour Voice is Harbour Kollective’s platform dedicated to preserving and celebrating Hong Kong culture, Cantonese heritage, and community stories. We believe Cantonese is more than the most widely spoken language in Hong Kong—it carries the everyday lives, cultural traditions, and collective memories of Hongkongers. Through storytelling, creative expression, and community engagement, we hope to ensure that Hong Kong stories and Cantonese heritage continue to thrive across generations and around the world.
Harbour Kollective is committed to promoting Hong Kong’s culture, arts, traditions, and language through cultural programs, community partnerships, digital platforms, and storytelling initiatives. By connecting the global Hongkonger community and engaging people from diverse cultural backgrounds, we aim to foster greater appreciation for Hong Kong’s unique identity. We believe cultural preservation is not only about safeguarding the past, but also about creating new opportunities for culture to be practiced, shared, and celebrated wherever Hongkongers call home.
As part of this mission, we are honoured to support the “Writing From My Heart – Global Cantonese Writing Initiative for Children and Youth” by sponsoring the design, development, and web hosting of its official website. Through our digital infrastructure and technical support, we are proud to help provide an accessible platform that encourages young Hongkongers around the world to express themselves through written Cantonese. We hope this initiative will inspire the next generation to preserve their language, share their stories, and carry forward the rich heritage of Hong Kong through creative writing.
